Special night of radio- From Pablo Escaobar to Parenting- 2 guests tonight, August 30th!
5:00-Joe Toft – former chief of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) who ran the DEA operation in Bogota, Colombia throughout the bloody years of battling the Medellin Cartel. He followed Escobar for more than six years, and understood that Escobar had an affable demeanor. Toft celebrated with the police officers who shot Escobar down, but recalls feeling a knot of concern at the same time. He realized that while they had taken down Escobar, they had also opened up the door for the Cali Cartel to fully take his place. Today, Toft is a part-time consultant on executive security matters and drug law enforcement matters.
